Research Background and Significance The presence of antimicrobial residues and various contaminants in animal waste, especially poultry droppings, poses a significant environmental and public health concern. Poultry farming is widespread globally, and the use of veterinary drugs such as antimicrobials is common for disease prevention and growth promotion. However, these substances can persist in animal waste, potentially contaminating soil and water bodies and contributing to antimicrobial resistance.
